Terms of Service

By accessing or using CARVIS — including by chatting with our assistant, verifying your phone, or submitting your information — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use CARVIS.

CARVIS is a lead-generation and matching service. We use an AI assistant to understand your situation and then connect you with a Special Finance specialist inside the Go Auto network (including Go Auto dealerships and Go Kia Richmond) and, through them, with third-party and subprime lenders who may be able to finance a vehicle for you.

CARVIS is not a lender, bank, credit union, broker of record, or car dealership. We do not lend money, approve applications, set interest rates, or sell or deliver vehicles. Those decisions are made entirely by the dealers and lenders you are matched with. CARVIS simply makes the introduction.

Using CARVIS does not guarantee that you will be approved for financing, offered any particular rate or term, or able to obtain any specific vehicle. Approval is not guaranteed: eligibility, pricing, and vehicle availability are determined solely by the dealers and lenders in their own discretion and subject to their own criteria. Anything CARVIS tells you during the conversation is informational only and is not an offer or a promise of financing.

To use CARVIS you must be a resident of Canada, of the legal age of majority in your province, and legally able to enter into a binding contract and a vehicle-financing transaction. By using CARVIS you represent that you meet these requirements.

By providing your phone number and other contact details, you consent to being contacted by CARVIS and by the Go Auto specialists, dealerships, and lenders we match you with, by phone, SMS text message, and email, for the purpose of following up on your inquiry. This includes the one-time verification SMS we send to confirm your number. This consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can withdraw it at any time — for example, by replying STOP to text messages or using an unsubscribe option — although doing so may prevent us from matching you with a specialist.

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete, and to use CARVIS only for its intended purpose of seeking vehicle financing for yourself. You agree not to submit false or misleading information, impersonate anyone, scrape or copy the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to circumvent its security or abuse-prevention measures.

CARVIS, the carvis.ca website, the CARVIS name and logo, and the content, software, and design of the service are owned by CARVIS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from the service without our permission. Trademarks belonging to Go Auto, Go Kia Richmond, or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

CARVIS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the matching service or any information it provides. You use CARVIS at your own discretion and risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CARVIS and its affiliates, partners, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) CARVIS. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you will be limited to the amount you paid us to use CARVIS, which for most users is nil.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CARVIS and its affiliates, partners, and service providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of CARVIS, your breach of these Terms, or any false or misleading information you provide.

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of a Canadian province — currently proposed as Alberta (with British Columbia as an alternative), given the Go Auto network’s base in Western Canada — and the applicable federal laws of Canada. The final choice of governing province is a decision pending review by our legal counsel and may change before these Terms are finalized.

If a dispute arises between you and CARVIS, we ask that you first contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. If it cannot be resolved that way, the dispute will be handled in accordance with the laws and courts of the governing province named above. (The parties may agree to resolve certain disputes through arbitration; the details of any arbitration process are pending legal review.)

We may modify these Terms from time to time as CARVIS evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and the revised Terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of CARVIS after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
